Setting A Vacation Auto-Reply On Your Email
Have
you ever sent an email
to someone and received
an immediate reply back
with a message such as "I'm
out of the office until
next Monday and will respond
to your message when I
return" or "I'm
on vacation until December
1st, if you need an immediate
response please contact
Bob at 970-555-5555"?
These automatic response
messages are called Auto
Replies or Vacation messages
and they can actually provide
you with peace of mind
when you are away from
your email by knowing that
urgent matters aren't falling
on deaf ears (or an unattended
mailbox).
Personalized
auto replies or vacation
messages are available
to all Brainstorm Internet
customers and are very
easy to set up. Here's
how to do it:
Go
to our webmail page at https://webmail.brainstorminternet.net and
log in with your full email
address and password.
In
the left menu panel click
on the plus sign (+) just
to the left of the Mail
link to expand the list
down. Now click on Vacation.
In
the window that opens you'll
see Subject and Message
boxes, just type in what
you want to use for your
auto reply email subject
line and message body.
After you enter that information
click Set/Install Vacation
Notice and click Submit.
When
you want to turn off the
auto reply message just
log into webmail again,
go to the Vacation settings
and click Unset/Remove
Vacation Notice, then click
Submit.
Q:
If I set a Vacation message,
will I still receive emails?
A: Yes. Your messages will accumulate in your mailbox and wait for you,
but everyone who sends you an email will automatically receive
your vacation reply.
If
you host your own domain
name at Brainstorm and
you are unable to log into
your own domain email as
directed above it is probably
because your domain is
hosted on our new hosting
platform and is accessed
differently. If this is
the case please contact webmaster@brainstorminternet.net for
assistance.
As
always, thank you for choosing
Brainstorm Internet. It
is our pleasure to serve
you and we will continue
striving for new ways to
improve your Internet experience.
If there is a specific
tech support related topic
that you would like us
