disconnects me when I’m idle for a very short time

Solution 1:


1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click on the Tools menu
3. Click on Internet Options
4. Click on the Connections tab up on the top
5. Click on Settings on the right
6. Click on Advanced on the bottom-right
7. Change the number of minutes entered for the checkbox “Disconnect if idle for X minutes.” You can also turn this setting off entirely by removing the checkmark from the checkbox.



Solution 2 (If you use Outlook Express to check your e-mail):

1. Open Outlook Express
2. Click on the Tools menu
3. Click on Options
4. Click on the Connections tab up on the top
5. Make sure that “Hang up after sending and receiving” is not checked.
