This is a step-by-step walkthrough for configuring your computer to use your Brainstorm dial-up account. If you have any problems call us at 247-1442 in Durango or 326-1010 in Farmington . We are open Monday thru Friday from 8am-10pm and Saturday thru Sunday from 9am-6pm .

Windows 2000 Dial-Up:

•  Double-click on My Computer

•  Double-click on Control Panel

•  Double-click on Network and Dial-up Connections

•  Double-click on Make New Connection

•  Click Next on the bottom

•  Make sure that Dial-up to the internet has a black dot in it.

•  Click Next

•  Make sure that I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I want to connect through a local area network (LAN) has a black dot in it.

•  Click on Next on the bottom

•  Make sure there is a black dot in I connect through a phone line and a modem

•  Click Next

•  Leave the area code blank and here is a list of Cities with there corresponding dial-up numbers
Durango: 247-7798
Farmington:716-4042
Grand Junction:241-0044
Montrose:240-2794

•  Click Next

•  Type in your username (ex: username@gobrainstorm.net ) and password. DonÕt forget @gobrainstorm.net at the end of your username!

•  Click Next on the bottom

•  Type Brainstorm for the Connection Name (It normally says Òconnect to 375-7240É)

•  Click on Next

•  Make sure the black dot is in No for the question: ÒDo you want to set up an Internet mail account now?Ó It can always be done later.

•  Click on Next on the bottom

•  Click on Finish
